Journey Through the Forest of the World, Wexham Park Hospital

Staff at Wexham Park Hospital asked for a design to cover over 60m corridor to give calm to children and families walking to the clinic or to theatres. After 2 years, this project was completed in September 2022, and it explored various forests from around the world. Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and Charity invited one of their young patients to cut the ribbon to open the new children's corridor in October 2022.

Impact

There has been so many comments about the project, and the sun and light every hour gives a new feeling to it. This is now a space to feel safe, included and empowered.

"It looks absolutely brilliant. The bright colours bring the corridor to life" - Najeeb Rehman, Equality and Diversity Manager

"Thank you so much. It really meant a lot for Monty to open it. The corridor doesn’t feel like a hospital or clinical. Can't imagine how it would have felt all plain" - Michelle

"It's really cool, Vibrant, majestical, colourful, and a magical tunnel" - Monty
