Call for Research: Creative Health Research Round-Up 2025
Have you published research on creative health in 2025? We want to hear from you.
The National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH) and the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) are launching the first Research Round-Up – an annual showcase of the latest evidence in creative health.
On Wednesday 28th January 2026, we’ll host an online event highlighting some of the most exciting and impactful studies of the year. Event Link coming soon!
Alongside the event, we’ll publish a publicly available report summarising every eligible submission in accessible, lay language – making it easier for practitioners, policymakers, and commissioners to connect with research and put it into practice.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome a range of submissions, including:
- Peer-reviewed articles (open-access or with a publicly available summary)
- Reports and evaluations
- Grey literature that shares findings of wider value
To be included, your content must:
- Feature a UK-based application of research or evaluation
- Be published between 1st January – 31st December 2025
It must also reach one of the following criteria:
- Be published in a publicly accessible form (e.g. open-access journal, repository, organisational website)
- Be accompanied by publicly available web content (e.g., blog or podcast) summarising the findings, if published behind a paywall.
- Be available as a publicly accessible pre-print, if the paper is still in-press.
In the questionnaire, you will also be asked to provide a short lay summary explaining the study’s findings and relevance for practice. This will be printed with minimum editing in the Round-Up Report. Please use plain English and explain your research in a way that is accessible to people outside of your field or professional context. We want this text to show why this research is important and how it might benefit the field.
All eligible submissions will be featured in the summary report. A selection of authors will also be invited to present at the event.
How and Why to Submit
Your submission should be made via our online survey (below), where you’ll be asked for a short lay summary, a link to the published output, and optional supporting details (such as participant quotes or statistics).
