As the Government seeks to shift from treating illness to preventing it, greater attention is needed on how the built environment can encourage healthier behaviours and provide more nurturing spaces for care. In response to the House of Lords Built Environment Committee's call for future inquiry topics, NCCH submitted a proposal exploring how arts, creativity and design could become a stronger part of public spaces and healthcare environments.
