Dr Guddi Singh

Dr Guddi Singh is a Consultant Paediatrician, health campaigner and TV broadcaster based in London.

Passionate about social justice and health equity, Guddi has worked around the world, including with the World Health Organization (WHO), Health Education England (HEE) and in resource-poor settings. She is Secretary for the Paediatrics and Child Health Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), Advocacy Lead for the British Association for Child and Adolescent Health (BACAPH), and helps manage the independent health think-tank, the Centre for Health and the Public Interest (CHPI).

Guddi is keen to ‘humanize' healthcare and believes the arts and humanities - including dance - will make this happen. She researches how medical professionalism might advance in the light of the social dimensions of disease and illness for her PhD at King’s College London. As a TV broadcaster, Guddi has appeared on the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Al-Jazeera and Sky News.
