The Art of Medicine- How art can teach the human dimension of care in medical education. Hosted on Wednesday 3rd June 2026.
Speakers: Introduction by Professor Louise Younie (SIG Chair)
Conversation by Dr Nicola Gill (SIG Vice-Chair) and Dr Sawsan Saeid
This was participatory session rather than a traditional webinar. The recording captures the speakers and presentations only, as we moved to a group setting in the second half, a summary of the Q&A section and links can be found here https://ncch.org.uk/uploads/GP-Webina...
This is the first in a series of Webinars hosted by the RCGP Special Interest Group (SIG) for Creative Health with the aim to provide space for expert voices, lived experience, and connection. Alongside a short formal 20-minute talk, the session then moves into a group setting where there is time for questions, space to connect in small groups sharing reflections, creative practices, and exploring together how we might continue to develop this work in our own contexts.
This RCGP SIG has been set up to support and inspire GPs who have a special interest in creativity, and who advocate for creative health within General Practice. The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) has supported the creation of this group and the National Centre for Creative Health provides the Secretariat.
